I've seen people say you shouldn't cycle with headphones in. I disagree.

1) if motorists are allowed to be in sound-insulated cabins with their stereo going, I'm allowed headphones

2) without headphones all I can hear is wind

3) cars are very loud—I can definitely still hear them through headphones, and don't wish to have my hearing damaged by fatigue or by some dickhead's modified vehicle
