South Africa opened a case against the Gazan Genocide by Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
The president said that - at this stage - it is not yet needed to ascertain to decide whether or not it is genocide, but only if the acts appear to be.
The court found that Israel has committed such acts. 'At least some acts appear to be capable of falling with the genocide convention,' president says.
The court ordered Israel to take measures to prevent and punish direct incitement of genocide in its war in Gaza.
"The state of Israel shall.... take all measures within its power to prevent the commission of all acts within the scope of Article II of the Genocide convention," the court said.
