it makes me think of a useful archival/GC policy to add to a realy also - one that avoids deleting long form events that might otherwise fall into the prune bucket... as it is, they naturally also compress better because a single text tends to have a lot of recurring unusual long words in it, and from author style phrases and constructions, so they can probably compress very well, and a well designed compression scheme could really save a lot of space to store a lot of this kind of content
