Confusion goes away due to improvement in economy: Mahmood Ali

Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali stated that the shortage of foreign currency in Bangladesh has been eradicated due to the high flow of inward remittances and increasing export earnings. He mentioned that all sorts of confusion have gone away due to the improvement in the country's economy. The Finance Minister also dismissed the apprehension that Bangladesh would experience a situation like Sri Lanka, stating that the country is still alive and going strong. He assured that the country is moving ahead and all commodities are available in line with the demand of the people. The Finance Minister received a set of budget proposals from the Economic Reporters' Forum (ERF) and assured them of considering their proposals.
