I'll share my experience. Assimilate what you make of it.
TL;DR: Cannabis can be a powerful natural tool for introspection and personal growth, but it can also be a pernicious substance if used chronically.
In my ongoing ambivalent experience, after using it on and off for a decade, I've found that it can provide profound insights and self-awareness.
However, I believe that modern times have transformed this sacred plant into a recreational substance, diluting its spiritual connotations.
I recommend using cannabis primarily as a tool for self-reflections, with a focus on connecting with a divine or spiritual dimension.
Try to avoid using cannabis as a crutch for an easy form of escapism; in other words, that is, resorting to it as a primary means of coping with stress or other challenges isn't the way to go.
So, to sort of summarize:
When used with respect and in a way that acknowledges its medicinal benefits and potent spiritual properties, I believe cannabis can be an incredible aid for personal growth.
However, the sword cuts both ways, and can (not always) inhibit your growth by developing a sense of psychological dependency.
Overall it's a radical god given plant that demands respect. Use it wisely!
