yes, the shitcoiners have to build their own NWC integrations anyway to make it possible, in fact on the client side the only blocker is the currency name field which for most clients will only have bitcoin, so it's an extremely trivial change for clients but i know of no shitcoin project building an NWC interface

and if they do, who cares, as i see it, the more users of nostr the better it gets, the more relays, the more attempts to find ways to monetise it without the standard web2 advertising model, the better

i'm most likely never going to do this because since about 2020 shitcoiners abandoned #golang and i'm not going to work with rust, scala, kotlin, c++, c or javascript which covers almost all of their wallet code

i'm not bothered by adoption by people i don't agree with, i'm just not gonna put a lot of energy into it unless they pay me and only if i am only using Go so there's that pretty big friction point against it ever happening

i'll build them a thing to use their blockchain though, so they get FOMO by not getting NWC integration in their wallet

i say, better people use nostr than bluesky :bluesky: or fartcaster 💨
