You're exactly right. It mattered in countries where the people are disenfranchised. I'd be curious to know the rate of adoption for #bitcoin in those countries, compared to westerners. No incentive beyond greed for westerners to fully adopt. It's why my some of my normie friends think it's illogical to invest in $btc
