#PSA: if you live in the US, keep your credit frozen with all three bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) at *all times*. It's free, manageable online, and has essentially zero practical consequences. Unfreezes happen way faster than they say most of the time - I unfroze minutes before two of the most significant credit transactions I've ever had. Just do it if you haven't, because your info is out there, leaked by some garbage corporation or one of the bureaus itself.
