When connecting, I seem to connect through Instagram which is installed on my android and which uses the same login as threads. Then the connection loads forever and never succeeds. I'm wondering if this is it. Maybe I should uninstall Instagram and force a raw login?

 No 😔 I deleted browser data and removed the openvibe integration as instructed in the FAQ but same forever loading loop
