I have always been fascinated or calmed by the sights and sounds of the ocean. I can sit there and watch those waves roll in gently, to lap the shoreline and then recede once more.

For this image, I didn't want to see the horizon, just the water. So kneeling on the white sand I watched the waves inch even closer with each passing minute.
