With funding from NOAA (via the IRA; Thanks Biden!) and ClimateWorks, we (UH Manoa, [C]Worthy, UCLA, Ebb Carbon, American U) will conduct alkalinity and tracer releases in San Francisco Bay and use observations and models to examine the efficacy and efficiency of ocean alkalinity enhancement as a form of ocean-based CO₂ removal (#CDR).
