I think people tried bluesky, threads and the even more futile attempts, for the wrong reasons and now they are getting disappointed for the wrong reasons. You can't expect a centralized social network to have all the people of the world, but just the ones you like.

Maybe with bridges amongst social network, people will finally decide to settle in a place and stay
