The suit claims that canvassers for Representative Michelle Steel's reelection campaign were not paid agreed-upon wages, failed to receive reimbursement for business expenses, and received inaccurate wage statements. The plaintiffs are seeking class certification for all current and former canvassers who worked for the Steel campaign from October 30, 2023, to present.
