I had this song in heavy rotation a few years ago after losing a friend and fellow musician to depression, and it’s a song that I think gets to the heart of what it means to make music. Even in the deepest depths, songs are bigger then we are and expand beyond our own struggles, revealing the humanity in us to anyone willing to listen
