Coinbase has consistently had problems keeping their systems up and running during times of high price volatility. This is a prime example of the risk a company takes on when they spread themselves thin in "crypto". There is a lack of focus that leads to unreliable products. https://m.primal.net/Hfya.png
Absolutely true! From a general SaaS business perspective, Coinbase is one of the worst. Over the years they have continually struggled and outright failed to solve the most basic micro service scaling problems. Their hiring initiatives have always been focused on hiring lower paid engineers to pump out half baked features. While I have nothing against those engineers, their technology platform is trash compared to where it should be after so many years. In hindsight, I’m sure that is all part of the plan.

Hhmm, would be an interesting, dishonest way to deal with liquidity issues. Just move the coins around internally, show some balances as 0, and stop the bank run.
