#WritersCoffeeClub 9/8. Did you like to read as a child? Which books did you read?

I learned to read very quickly and soon read everything I could get my hands on. In 6th grade, I routinely read 5-10 books every week (access to a library...).

That changed to reading every English-language book I could lie my hands on after turning 15. (Wasn't easy in the 1980s. Dad brought home thrillers.)

During my exchange year in the US, I discovered fantasy for real. Never looked back.
