Yea they def don’t advertise it. I find them easy to use though once connected. Only thing is they don’t show up on desktop, I imagine probably for the same reason that it recently came out that signal is not fully secure on desktop 🤷♀️
100% true but I think most noobs either misunderstand or incorrectly assume that secret chats are the default.
💯 yes, this has always baffled me.. why not just make them all e2ee, and where not possible (for eg on desktop), put a warning sign you need to acknowledge before proceeding
