I can see you have navigated many routes and grown discouraged as any one gets when spending time and passion on such an important purpose.

I’d like to instill some level of hope with Nostr clients like nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg and nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5 along with the V4V Nostr community that a lot of us are driving for.

nostr:npub1t6njrhtc9q3f5wdrwfrhpypq3kes5mpdx4u4rw9w2pxjanuxcpkqveagv3 is currently running artist consulting and managing out of Nashville. nostr:npub1a6c3jcdj23ptzcuflek8a04f4hc2cdkat95pd6n3r8jjrwyzrw0q43lfrr is currently doing live V4V artist onboarding through nostr:npub1h8gzew8am6cezuq7cpjgudldra40hgnruqrqlsrqnxnzs5wjtczqztps02 in combination with many V4V advocates.

V4V at its current state IMO is not an either or but more a value add to increase the sovereignty of artists.

I’d recommended Wavlake’s telegram group as a forum to express your experience and navigate potential solutions.

Whether it goes mainstream or not that doesn’t necessarily have to be the end game. But providing some revenue at the end of the day is a win for starving artists. Just my two cents.
