It’s getting to be that time of year again. I love the fall. I dig that pack, is it leather?
It used to be an Eberlestock vapor. It was my brother's. He blew the zipper out, and Eberlestock sent him a replacement. I ended up with the old pack and cut off everything but the back panel which contains a rigid plastic frame. I then got some strapping and buckles from Amazon and made the front panel from leather, and attached the straps to fit the existing loops on the pack.
Standard USGI poncho on my pack frame* along with a jacket in case it gets cold. I can add more extra layers, but so far, the forecast is showing warm temps. *This pack frame nostr:nevent1qqsrhhgkhu26s2lq2zg34qay37jpkel50p0nf3zj4cqe5fu35z96plsprpmhxue69uhkxetvd3shytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qgs8ja6sqsw3xe4gp4z7zvxgx8c9v26lwfnxv2c84nh4ph25r0az2dgrqsqqqqqplxrh4d
