ironically, polar melt leads to cooling, via changing the salinity of the ocean why is the polar melt happening? not because of CO2, because of weakening magnetic field due to an increase in opposing magnetic flux emanating from the galactic center there is very good evidence supporting the hypothesis now (archaeology, magnetic rocks in geology) that every 12000 years most of the time the earth's ROTATIONAL pole shifts due to the change of the MAGNETIC pole that reminds me of something, thet most likely time for this to occur will be when the earth is at the 90 degrees to the sun vs the sun's line to the galactic center, where the earth's field is most exposed to the flux lines from the galaxy coming to perfect 90' (when magnetic flux is at 90' there is repulsion)
