I donโt understand this message ๐
Mostr is a bridge between Mastodon servers and Nostr. A Mastodon server generates Nostr secret keys for its users from the usersโ Mastodon names and a secret key specific to the server. The Mastodon users donโt even know their own nsecs. Posts to the Mastodon server are forwarded to Nostr relays (the server administratorโs choice, I believe), and Nostr usersโ notes are (sometimes) forwarded to the Mastodon serverโs users. https://gitlab.com/soapbox-pub/mostr
This is why I avoid like a plague mostr pubs accounts, mastodon is a hive for wokies minds
This is often true, but there are exceptions. Last year I followed @Stacy , who seems nice if a little too into politics. Unfortunately whenever I replied to her, she never responded. I think her Mastodon server is forwarding her posts to Nostr, but not Nostr notes to her. (Or sheโs ignoring me. ๐) Itโs a one-way conversation now.
