I am finally reading the actual book, well listening to it on audible.  I have to say if you believe it is as simple as 

Strong men create good times, good times create weak me, etc. 

You do not get it at all.  It is far more about a return to cyclical time vs linear time in understanding history and future events.  I plan to do a deck when I am done and make a podcast episode about it.
