She transed her daughter.  She probably didn't want a lesbian in the family, so now she has a "son", and she gets woke points to boot.  Assembly member Lori Wilson is just another brainless, useless politician pushing a political agenda.  Most politicians live in a rarefied bubble, completely cut off from what happens in the real world.  They live in their little bubble and are spoon fed information from special interests lobbyists.   

The one and only Wiener, Scott Weiner, and Lori slithered into the capitol to draw up this terrifying piece of legislation, AB 957.

This is a very serious issue because it amends California family law code.  If three year old Johnny says he is a "girl", then it's child abuse to say otherwise.  If a confused autistic 9 year old saw a trans Tiktok video, and now says she is trans, she is.  It's child abuse to say otherwise.  Heck, it doesn't matter if the child is mentally ill or severely disabled with limited cognitive ability.  The parents must "affirm" because not "gender affirming" could mean losing custody.   

"Existing law governs the determination of child custody and visitation in contested proceedings and requires the court, for purposes of deciding custody, to determine the best interests of the child based on certain factors, including, among other things, the health, safety, and welfare of the child.

This bill, for purposes of this provision, would include a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity or gender expression as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child."

The prefrontal cortex of the human brain isn't fully developed until the early to mid twenties.  There is a reason we don't let kids and teenagers drink, smoke, or take out bank loans.  The State of California is saying parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity or gender expression is part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child.  This makes the assumption that kids and adolescents are capable of making informed decisions.  

Apparently, no one in the state capitol has ever heard of detransitioners even though detransitioners in California are suing their doctors.  I bet detransitioners who got their breasts lopped off when they were 13 or 14 (very common in California) wish their parents had told them to wait and think it over.    I guess no one told the totally the useless politicians that once body parts are lopped off, they can't be magically sewn back on.

The State of California is telling the world that knowingly sterilizing kids with GnRH analogues and hormones promotes the health and safety of children.   We know that some boys medically transitioned at a young age have small undeveloped male genitalia and can't orgasm, but it's all about health and safety.   Countries like Sweden, Finland, and England have changed their policies on medically transing kids.  There is no solid proof that it works, and the benefits outweigh the risks.  

People who do their research instead of living in a cloistered gender affirming fantasy land know that research that goes back decades says that most kids will eventually grow out of it, and the most likely adult outcome is bisexuality or homosexuality.  This is what the research was telling us before the current trend to trash all kids.
