When you share Youtube links, they often contain a tracking code by the name of `si=something`. It's perfectly save to remove this (and other) parts of the URL to make sharing more safe. A good YouTube URL should look like this: https://youtube.com/watch?v=video-id (rule of thumb: remove everything after and including the first "&") or https://youtu.be/video-id (rule of thumb: remove everything after and including the first "?") Doing this does not only improve your security, but the security of everyone opening your link. Happy sharing! Miss you mina You beautiful mind you
Well first, I didn't see you spam lately so I had no reason to rant. 😄 Actually, I didn't see much posts of you at all at the times I was active. Maybe I need to reschedule my sleep, it was a bit weird lately anyway. Second, I have a bad conscience cuz I still need to read a certain script and I didn't do I yet and ahhh.... This is how friendships with me usually end. Yay
Nostr clients should spot tracking tags in drafts and offer to remove them before posting. nostr:nevent1qqs0df2fzq4ycqfv5l6xwdz7je8hcf2v65tqh32yv9vd5n5k0sdla2cpzamhxue69uhkzarvv9ejumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtczypqkegvn4f2y3wxv58cfvs5qwajucrhzn9sfl9ed7ps5e7uw5tetzqcyqqqqqqgnkeqe8
Appreciate this, I posted a YouTube link a while ago and foolishly left tracking code. Luckily I am not relevant enough for this to matter yet lol🤷🏼♂️
