Intel Postpones September Innovation Event Amid Ongoing Turmoil. Things are not going well for Intel at the moment. The company is currently in the throes of a PR and customer satisfaction nightmare with the Raptor Lake instability fiasco and just announced it was laying off 15% of its workforce as it seeks to restructure its business to be more competitive.

One of its new goals is to save $10 billion in costs by 2025, and as a precursor to painful cuts ahead, it has announced it's postponing its upcoming Innovation event in September.
