Kindness is not always called for. In many situations implacable violence is what is needed as in defense of self, house, home and others.

That is unless you are living in a universe where unicorns are shooting Skittles out of their asses flying though a rainbow. 

 Of course not, every situation takes its own measures, but do you choose to execute the home invader or just sever their legs? One is kinder 🙃
