Fair, whatever is on the internet, can remain there, even if you deleted your tweet(or whatever its called now), screenshots still exist. 

But there should still be an option to delete, if you're lucky, maybe all the relays you used where honoring "delete" and the note wasn't broadcasted to relays that don't, and you should be able to "try your luck".
