Glaciers in Switzerland are disappearing at a “mind-blowing” pace, the Swiss Academy of Sciences says. In just two years, the glaciers have shrunk 10%, the same amount of ice loss experienced over the three-decade period between 1960 and 1990. Matthias Huss, head of the Swiss Glacier Monitoring Network, says this acceleration “would have been impossible without climate change.” #GlobalWarming #Climate #Glaciers #Switzerland https://flip.it/A2wxJZ
