As a kid: this painting sucks its boring, it looks weird

As a teen: I just dont get it because im not an expert like those guys in the fancy suits

As an adult: The point of art is to convey an emotion or message, or tell a story in a beautiful or detailed way. The ability to judge art is in us all, but we have just forgot, thinking we just dont understand any of it. The judgement you can get from a piece after seeing and viewing it for at least a few minutes is the true worth of it.
