1 million Sats = ~$591 usd fee per month roughly. Assuming #bitcoin does better in the next 2-18 months, the real cost of this fee, denominated in bitcoin, will be catastrophic to their clients.
Also, there are no docs on how to “delete” or “cancel” your fold account.

That is an insane fee. So Fold separates your reward balance and your regular balance?
Just listened to the WBD pod yesterday about Fold and was going to give it a try.
Both Fiat and Bitcoin "rewards" really are just puppet strings.
You can pay $100/yr or $10/mo and have no BTC<->USD fee. Effectively that is still a fee but much cheaper than the numbers you listed. I just signed up for it.
