In 2023 Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp/Threads made >$130 billion off of sharing your private information, pictures, and videos for advertising purposes. Given that greater than 80% of Americans use Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp/Threads they have a monopoly on user data and should be broken up by the FTC.
