So, nostr:npub13zgf8fgn792dcx3c2ndl5yq6y9w94uvd2zyzrvvqgh5l535z0dus5hx350 got me thinking about rove beetles, while searching for a silly drawing I did of one I found ... this ... individual? er- these individuals?
The rove beetle, bottom has grown a "termite puppet" on it's back to trick termites into feeding it.
That's the problem with being a eusocial insect, some little fool is always pulling a con.
Rove beetles also run with army ants. Though, there is some evidence sometimes it's less parasitic and more mutual.
