Often the most extreme homophobic and transphobic attacks come from people who are themselves queer and hate that part of themselves. So they lash out at others who aren’t self-hating and try and prove their straightness to themselves and others.
Look. If you’re happy with your gender then enjoy it. If you find yourself attracted to the people society says you are supposed to be attracted to, then that’s awesome. You’ve avoided a lot of unnecessary trauma.

"Queer" is a far left political movement, completely distinct from sexual orientation. Most self-described "queers" are straight but want to be perceived as special and different.
Your personal experience doesn't define the greater reality. Pretending mostly conservative people aren't engaging in anti-lgbt hate and discrimination on a daily basis is just one more way to disregard and minimize the lived experiences of lgbt people. It's a gaslighting revictimization.
