People place outsized importance on stories. State a fact and no one will care. Craft it into an emotional journey and suddenly you’re a genius and everyone pays attention. We’re all suckers for hero’s journey. Good morning! ☀️ ☕️
Good Morning, True! I used to watch America's got talent but they like to just choose people with sad back stories.
Nobody cared about the talent, so people would be like "My Mom died when I was 8 but she told be I should never give up, so I didn't" 🤣
🤣
So true. I've been reading Nathan Baugh's materials on how to tell better stories
No, people are designed to be moved deeply by stories. Facts without context are very hard to relate to.
So you’re agreeing with disagreement. Got it.
I don't agree with the first part of your statement. Stories are how knowledge is transmitted over very long periods of human continuance. Stories shape everything. They are, in fact (😅), more important than singular facts, and why telling/seekibg/living the truth matters so much. A story twisted dull of lies is the most destructive thing.
Good morning ✌️🧡
