This photo tells a sad story :
I’m leaving the uk in the next couple of months never to return.
To me it’s exciting & a newly discovered option. I’ve traveled the world from an early age, spending my pre teen years in school in Australia and thanks to my mums wondering & fearless love of all mankind I’ve been to every continent on earth on a shoestring budget , often avoiding the normie tourist trails. I’ve spent nights in Bedouin villages, Rubbed noses with Māori tribes and shared a meal with Iranian Christians in Iraq , I’ve hunted till the sun came up & wild camped on both bogs and beaches across the planet. I’ve also spent many many a night in 5* luxury resorts (India runs this )
What is my point?
Up till now I’ve never given any thought to how my constant disappearances would affect a close girl friend. Honestly and with a bit a shame it didn’t even cross my mind.
To see tears in a friend’s eyes is a dream and a bond that I’m trying to figure out in my own and most midwit and socially awkward sort of way.
Longest note - right from the heart ❤️
