Ah now. If I'm interpreting your previous toots correctly, it sounds like you've got plantar fasciitus.

My own bout with that miserable condition dissipated only recently. It switched feet too, a consequence of my altered gait.

The good news is that orthotic inserts help, as does stretching out the muscle by rolling your foot over one of those Kong rubber balls.

I kept walking through the pain because the mental pain of not walking was worse.
