Looking at GT animated with OVA levels of quality does a lot to make your point about Toriyama's modern style stand strong.

It's not bad, but looking at older works makes you go "God DAMN." In addition to the Broly clips, it makes you long for Dragon Ball to be animated like that ALL the time (as if Toei will give that much time for TV animation).
