You know what the most unrealistic part is to most movies - a protagonist will often experience roughly one big life event that sets off their call to adventure (e.g. a break-up, moving, losing their job). I have never had only one of those happen at a time. I call shenanigans! If your protagonist hasn't changed at least one gender, had three different jobs, and almost lost their housing more than once, it's totally unrealistic to my life and clearly just shenanigans 😝
