I've been ignoring Western media propaganda since I watched Loose Change when I was ~16 years old.
Ever since I left college 15 years ago, I haven't had cable. So I'm always kind of shocked how many people still watch it.

It has all been piecemeal alt media for me since then.
Same, quit watching tv during college, don’t even own a tv. Whenever I go to a watch party, like sports or politics at someone’s house, it’s the commercials that blow me away, they’re like tailored to some version of humanity I never joined or evolved into
When I was 23 I got an Apple TV. It was better than satellite or cable, But now I just have a Mac mini connected to a tv, So all my time sitting still is research time. Being forced to think about what you want to watch or learn is much better than choosing between a set of pre select media bias outlets.
