 There is flare.pub, but you either have to have the files hosted on another server that you can share from (and I don’t believe it recognizes YouTube), or you pay them to host a very limited amount of video 

 Google wont let you link those files because its a closed system. You can hotlink from a file server or peertube which is open.

 I'm looking forward to a solution right here on Nostr with media hosting and relays that are self-owned or paid with clear terms, or both. Some folks are working on solutions, I am not sure how far along they are though.

 You could setup a cheap server at home using either the startOS or UmbrelOS and just store the videos on that, and grant public access to the videos and share the individual links on nostr or any legacy platform you want… I think I spent $200 on my Umbrel setup building it myself and both Umbrel and Start OS are free to download and use

 Yeah it actually wasn’t hard… I used to make websites back in the 90s with html, and that’s about as technical as I get… I actually just went to the start9 website and looked in their forum on diy because I didn’t want to spend $500-1300 for one of their servers. There were steps and links to all the components available on Amazon and then after a little more research I actually found that I liked the amount of plugin and play program options that Umbrel had so I ended up just downloading and installing their operating system… took about 30 minutes to put it together and about that long to install Umbrel and from there I went

 The Nostr client Satellite has a CDN (Content Delivery Network) built on Nostr and so far to me seems to be the most censorship resistant file hosting solution.

 On a Start9 Tor file server with a connected USB backup. It’s super easy to set up and it gives you access to- and sharing capability of your files over the Tor network from mobile or desktop. Without using a third party. 

 If BitChute still exists it's a good option,  after Rumble and Odysee  

 get a @nostr.build premium account and post your videos on nostr. then anyone on nostr will have the ability to easily download and backup your videos.

 If I was in your shoes right now, my #1 focus wouldn't be trying to chase down new places to distribute your videos, but rather to leverage your current YouTube audience by advertising your Nostr to funnel them here, establishing this as your impenetrable homebase. That way, if the ban hammer does drop on YouTube, your audience will all be here so you can tell them where you'd move to next.

You want to have that ground zero of communication with your audience that doesn't rely on ANY of those video platforms, no matter how much they preach their censorship resistance.

This is why I'm 1000% focused on Nostr and just posting my videos on YouTube still. YT gathers the most eyeballs, send them all to Nostr where you're safe from algorithms, and you've got the best of both worlds, prepared for any steps after that!

1) Make a dedicated "Nostr 101" video that's tailor-made for your audience. It should walk through what Nostr is, why your audience should care about it, and how they can make an account and follow you

2) In all future videos that you want to funnel your subscribers to Nostr (I do it in as many as I can), just give a very brief "follow me on Nostr" in the video, and tell them that to learn more, "go watch that 'Nostr 101' video linked in the description", and plunk your npub right under it 

 Hubby and I have watched your YouTube videos for years.  We’re now both following you on nostr.  I don’t know how to move video content but I do think advertising nostr is a good idea. 

 First of all, have them on your own hard drive just in case of coordinated attack.

I was also thinking of backing up a bunch of controversial videos, including carnivore videos.
