I speak both Ukrainian and Russian and I’ve seen that video.

I have an impression that when they use arguments like “you will lose your son/husband and get washing machine/financial compensation” the message is 100% true, but the audience is completely wrong. 

The promise of a financial compensation in exchange for a son/husband is not going to discourage  women in Russia - quite the opposite. Russian system of “traditional values” created a pathological system where many women will be actually relieved to lose their alcoholic and violent husband or drugs-addicted son in exchange for money, which will give them a second chance in life.

They don’t give a shit about civilians killed in Ukraine or their husbands/sons who are useless pain in the ass, which is why they will continue convincing them to go to war because it’s in their best interest.
