Hello everyone, new to this protocol/network and sending out a message into the aether. Mostly here to figure out how the protocol works first- can anyone suggest what venue is best for general questions about the protocol and its implementation?

Or if the main feed is ok, my first question- it's not quite clear from cursory googling how long messages are retained in practice. Is there p2p replication between relays to spread events? Are there any public archival services?
