Core inflation remained steady at 1.8% y-o-y. Bank Negara Malaysia will release its latest data on Monday. The 1MDB-Tanore criminal trial involving former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak continues. Bank Indonesia will announce its policy rate decision on Wednesday. South Korea will release its 1Q gross domestic product (GDP) on Thursday. China will release industrial profits for March on April 27. The Bank of Japan will announce its monetary policy decision on April 26. Australian and New Zealand stock markets will be closed on April 25 for Anzac Day.
