Meaningful work is almost always high risk low rewards. 
Look at what satoshi did with Bitcoin, he did not get meaningfully rich (maybe not), yet he changed the world for good. 
The same is true for Nostr, a Nostr client will always be infinitely less profitable that Big Tech social media, yet we do it.
