Whats the point of a coinjoin when you know afterwards that a coinjoin was used and the coins are now tainted and not accepted by many exchanges?
Never had problems with merchants accepting those utxos. I didn't try to sell it on a centralized exchange. Didn't sell any. But you could use bisq I guess, heard it worked well with conjoined utxos.
Havent had problems with Merchants but with exchanges and instantswaps. Bisq only moves the problem to the next sucker imo.

I am afraid we will use AML tools ourselves in the near future so we can make sure we are not buying tainted or coinjoined coins on DEXes.
Jup, on bisq the next one maybe has a problem. Generally I would say, not the coinjoins are the problem, the crazy regulations are the problem.
I happily accepted conjoined utxos and I think I'm not the only one. And if everything gets really bad, you could switch to monero, but I believe it's just a matter of time until the last exchange will delist it.

Will you accept coinjoined utxos when you have doubts the next person you wanna transact with will accept it?

They will delist Monero, sure. If we are serious about building a parallel society, we should embrace the separation from the normies.
If we're serious about building a parallel society, doesn't this also include accepting conjoined utxos and transacting in a truly p2p manner?
I do not see why we should use a traceable currency at all.
