It's quite ironic that we, a bunch of materialistic, post-industrial  barbarians, program AIs and then expect them to exhibit ethical behavior based on the data of our insights and judgments.

The weak link in this chain of creation is the builder, not the product.

But when we think of ourselves as perfect beings, we don't come to this conclusion of course.
