There are a lot of networks that are unknown to the world because they cater to specific communities and countries, but people moved to big tech over time, hopefully nostr brings it back!

A few years ago the biggest social media app in South Africa, was a local one named #MXit, then #Facebook came along with Messenger and WhatsApp and killed it

I think that nostr can be the plaform for these developers to try again and create experiences that users in that region want, not this dry stale apps that must cater to everyone
