In Ca, I just got my new auto insurance renewal and it went up 37% and there were no changes made on my end. My agent said that the rates have not been raised since Covid hit and that since everything insurance would pay for in a claim has got so much more expensive they had to raise rates to these levels. We are starting to see that most companies in Ca are raising rates by 40% to 50% right now.
