I agree. They act like it will create havoc, but so-called revelations of Satoshi's identity have never moved the needle. I suppose they could try to discredit whoever they ID, but that has no bearing on bitcoin's network stability and functionality. At worst, it gets a bunch of coverage right before the election and then drops off the radar when there are more interesting things to discuss.
