A new study suggests that recycling cement, aggregates, and concrete from construction and demolition (C&D) wastes can significantly reduce carbon emissions. According to the research, for every ton of recycled cement produced, CO2 emissions could be reduced by 0.35-0.77 tons compared to ordinary Portland cement. Additionally, producing high-quality recycled concrete can replace traditional concrete and reduce raw material consumption. Source: https://www.mdpi.com/1996-1944/17/20/5020
